On windows If I start typing it goes to the command input, no problem. If I explicitly click into the Command field to enter text it works correctly, but if I start typing normally without clicking into the input field I have issues. If I try to enter this as 80" it will be 80 (feet) long. If I try to draw a line 6’8" long, it will be 6 (feet) long. Typing units is (sometimes) interpreted as ending the command. After the first point it works as expected - I can draw an n-point polyline and snaps work correctly for the second - n points. I have to snap a second time in the same place to start the command. The first click sees the snap, but doesn’t start the command. Snaps are recognized correctly, if I try to draw (for example) a rectangle from one intersection point, I have to click twice to start the command. The first mouse click doesn’t seem to register. I’m facing some odd UI issues that make me wonder if I have something set up incorrectly. I’ve just recently started trying out the Rhino 8 Beta on Mac - I’m a longtime Rhino user on Windows but trying this out on my home Mac for comparison.
